The arborist CRM
A CRM built for tree service companies, and nothing else
General field-service software is written for plumbers and cleaners and then bent to fit tree work. Arb Astra starts from the tree company: the lead that came in at 9pm after a storm, the estimate done standing in a driveway, the crew that needs to know about the dog and the power line before they arrive, and the tree that gets treated again next spring.
What a tree service CRM has to hold
A tree company does not just sell to a customer. It sells to a customer at a property, about particular trees, over years. Arb Astra keeps those as linked records: the contact, each property they own, the trees on it, every estimate, job and invoice, and the notes and tags your office uses to find them again.
That is what lets the next person who picks up the phone see that this caller had a silver maple removed two years ago and has a PHC treatment due, instead of starting from a name.
Everything from the first call to the paid invoice
One app for the office, the estimator and the crew, each seeing the part they need:
- Leads in a pipeline and on a map, flagged by how long each one has been waiting.
- Estimates the estimator can speak out loud, with line items, photos, your terms and an e-signature.
- A drag-and-drop schedule with crews, equipment, weather and approved time off.
- A crew view of today's jobs, hazard notes, pre-job and post-job checklists, and clock in/out.
- Invoices with editable payment reminders and custom NET terms, exportable to QuickBooks or Xero as CSV.
- Review requests to Google or Facebook, tracked per job.
- Per-tree inventory, risk assessments and plant health care treatment records.
- Reports on win rate, collection rate, speed to lead, marketing return and job costing.
Built around how estimators actually quote
The part of a tree business that makes or loses the most money is the estimate. So that is where the most work has gone. The estimator can say the job out loud ("big silver maple out back, crane removal, forty two hundred, plus stump grinding six fifty") and the quote fills itself in, then they check it, present it on the tree company's own branded paper and get it signed on the spot. If the driveway has no signal, the quote is saved and sent when it does.
Switching from another CRM
Most companies looking at Arb Astra already run something, whether that is ArboStar, Jobber, a general field-service tool or a spreadsheet. The importer takes a CSV export from any of them and maps its columns onto Arb Astra's fields, for customers, properties, jobs, estimates, invoices, trees, PHC records, equipment and crew. Jobs and invoices are linked back to the right customer by email, then by name, so a re-import does not create duplicates.
Who it is for
Tree service companies of any size, from an owner-operator quoting from their truck to multi-crew companies with an office. Organisations can also be set up as a municipality, with departments and purchase-order billing.
It runs in the browser and installs to the home screen of a phone or tablet, so the crew uses the same app as the office without anyone downloading anything from an app store.
Questions
What is a tree service CRM?
A customer relationship management system built for tree care companies. Beyond names and phone numbers, it links each customer to their properties and trees and to every estimate, job and invoice, so the whole history of the work is in one place.
Is Arb Astra only for tree companies?
Yes. It is built for tree service and arborist businesses, and features like per-tree inventory, risk assessments and PHC treatment logs exist because of that.
Can I bring my customers over from my current software?
Yes. Export a CSV from your current CRM and the importer maps its columns onto Arb Astra, covering customers, properties, jobs, estimates, invoices, trees, PHC records, equipment and crew.
Who makes Arb Astra?
Arb Astra is built by Ads Astra Labs, a marketing agency that works only with tree service companies. The two are separate: you can use the CRM without the agency, and the agency without the CRM.
